This auction is for this 1 gram pile of natural gold nuggets!  These are larger than a 20 mesh screen.

Watch out for fancy pictures and seriously scrutinize any of those that leave off the weight.  I would estimate most non-weight stated listings to be 1/2g or less. A dozen 20 mesh screen nuggets can weigh the same as 100 others of same screen classification due to thickness.   Without a weight you can not guess a value.  Gold nuggets used for jewelry are usually not smaller than a #20.  As the screen opening size gets larger the classification number gets smaller and so likewise the rarity of natural finds increases.

A picture can make a little look a lot!  I've played with some photos and different weights/quantities of gold and can easily make about 3-4gn look like this 15+gn picture.  These pictures are not done with fancy photography, just straight forward shots that any camera can do.  Believe me, clear impressive pictures don't make the gold weigh any more.  The following picture is the middle nugget simply cropped out of a 3Mp shot for a perception example.  The higher resolution cameras these days can take a speck and make it fill your screen, so please keep that in mind when bidding for gold based on a picture. 

With the listing, picture taking and weighing time; you can be assured the extra mile went into bringing you these fine nugget specimens.   Shop around for comparison sake!  I want you to be completely happy and satisfied with your purchase.  Last but not least, check the posted weight in listings and don't try to count up the meaningless 1/16 marks to determine value.   This listing is for 1g and there's slightly over 31g (grams) in a Troy Ounce (ozt).  A gram weighs approximately 15.4gn (grain) and an ozt has 480gn.  Most auctions for raw natural gold of this nature have been selling for $1 - $2 per grain.
